Curatorial Department

The Curatorial Department at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum oversees and manages the museum’s collection of historic objects and spaces, in addition to conceiving, facilitating, and managing all exhibitions and ancillary programming.

Our curators aim to bring new, dynamic, and engaging work into a historic domestic environment, and to enliven and reawaken viewers’ understanding of the space, its context, and how contemporary artists can bring new meaning to historic places.

Proposals
The Curatorial Department accepts curatorial proposals from groups and individuals on an ongoing basis. Requests for proposals are reviewed quarterly. Download RFP
