Photography Permit Prices Are As Follows:

$150 - children's photos or high school senior photo sessions during museum open hours for 1 hour

$200 - children's photos or high school senior photo sessions during museum closed hours for 1 hour

$250 - photo sessions (engagement, prom groups, etc.) and proposals during museum open hours (11:00AM-3:00PM, Thursday-Sunday) for 1 hour

$500 - photo sessions and proposals during museum closed hours for 1 hour 

$750 - private corporate photo sessions or styled shoots for 2 hours and $250 per additional hour - offered M/T/W

$1,000 - wedding photo sessions for 1 hour 

 

Photography Permit Information

  • Photography permit availability is based on Villa Terrace's event schedule and staff availability. While we strive to accommodate as many sessions as possible, permit availability may be limited due to museum events, weddings, private rentals, or other scheduled activities.
  • Villa Terrace does not provide in-house photography services. While we are happy to offer recommendations, all photographers must be hired independently by the permit holder.

Photography Permit Guidelines

  • Photography permits include admission for the photographer and up to two guests. If additional guests will be accompanying your session, prior approval from Villa Terrace staff is required.
  • Use of the museum and gardens is restricted to the time reserved on your photography permit. To ensure all scheduled sessions run smoothly, early arrival is limited to 15 minutes prior to your reserved start time, and sessions must conclude by the end of the reserved time.
  • To help preserve the museum and gardens and ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors, all props, equipment, and additional vendors (including, but not limited to, musicians, drones, floral installations, or specialty rentals) must be approved by Villa Terrace staff in advance. Approval is subject to our venue guidelines and may be denied if an item or activity could impact the historic property, gardens, or other museum guests.
