Guidelines for Visiting the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum During the Covid-19 Pandemic
To help insure safety of our staff and visitors, please adhere to the following guidelines when visiting.
Advanced reservations are required to visit the museum. Please arrive at your scheduled time to allow for congestion free check-in. Group size per reservation time slot is a maximum of nine people.
Face Masks and Coverings
We request all visitors bring and wear a face mask/covering when on museum grounds. Milwaukee’s mask mandate requires masks be worn at all businesses open to the public. (Children under under three years old do not need to wear a mask.)
Please remain with your group while visiting and remain at least six feet from fellow museum visitors when possible.
Seating is limited within the museum as historic furniture has been removed due to sanitizing concerns. A limited number of plastic chairs have been set up and are routinely disinfected.
Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the museum. We ask that all visitors sanitize their hands before entering the museum and when they have a need to touch handrails or other surfaces. Many of the museum’s surfaces are historic in nature and difficult to sanitize repeatedly. Please limit touching surfaces when possible.
Initially restrooms will be closed during your visit. Please plan accordingly. Please check back for updates on restroom availability.
